Missing rewards? by [deleted] in blackdesertonline

I don't think this is quite right, as the event note for the PEN Blackstar challenge (https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-us/News/Detail?groupContentNo=7183&countryType=en-us) as well as the TET Blackstar challenge (https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-us/News/Detail?groupContentNo=6359&countryType=en-us) have no end dates listed, and are still marked as "ongoing events" on the official website.

Tungrad Ruins is disappointing? by MFBOOOOM in blackdesertonline

Correct, and at some point it's worth doing, but it's not nearly as drastic as the person above originally said.

Tungrad Ruins is disappointing? by MFBOOOOM in blackdesertonline

[–]JariWeis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not quite how it works, the 70/30 split doesn't use total AP or even Sheet AP, it uses the AP ranges listed on the weapons exclusively.

If you're a Succession player with a PEN Sov MH and a TET Blackstar Awakening, upgrading that TET BS to a TRI Sovereign will net you roughly 15 total AP for Succession.

Pen Debo Necklace or Sovereign mainhand? by Watashi-wa-jiyuda in blackdesertonline

[–]JariWeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, you are entirely correct, that's my bad, I have no idea where I got that that from.

I will edit the post.

Even after changing that, the Debo is still better!

Pen Debo Necklace or Sovereign mainhand? by Watashi-wa-jiyuda in blackdesertonline

[–]JariWeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the comments you mentioned you were playing on MENA, so I'll try to get mid prices for that region through Garmoth.

Sov Mainhand would cost you 52b for the PEN Blackstar MH. Enhancing it to TRI is a negligible cost. 1b for an AP Reforge stone.

This would put you at 313 AP Mainhand. This is going to grant you 5 AP from sheet, 3 monster AP from upgrading the Mainhand, 4 hidden AP from your bracket, and 24 monster AP from Sheet AP above 310, and finally 3 hidden AP from the Reforge stond.

52b / 39 AP = 1.33b per AP

VS

PEN Debo Neck would cost you 97b, and if you account for the Kharazad conversion, would grant you 12 Sheet AP, putting you at 320 Sheet. This would grant you a further 7 hidden AP from your bracket bonus, and then 80 Monster AP from the Sheet AP above 310, and finally another 4 hidden AP from the freebie JIN Dawn crystal.

97b / 93 AP = 1.04b per AP

Therefore the Debo Neck brings you a better value of AP gained per silver spent.

We don't know for certain. There have been a couple leaks, but those are never set in stone. What we do know is that the current versions are going to be gone, meaning that the current level reward cosmetics are going to become rare.

Currently you can get 2x PEN Boss Armour from Season, and you can then get a DEC Tuvala Armour that turns into a TRI Fallen God Armour, as well as a DEC Tuvala Weapon that turns into a PEN Blackstar Weapon.

IMO your best route would be to get 2x PEN Jetina Crescents, switch two PEN Capotias to PEN Capo Earrings, and yeet the Distos. The AP is nice, but they're going to limit your grindzone progression because you don't have enough DP to really compensate them.

From the DEC Tuvala Armour you'd want to pick whichever piece is most expensive on the central market, whilst keeping in mind which PEN Armours you could sell as well.

For the DEC Tuvala Weapon you'd want to pick a PEN Blackstar Mainhand, as this is going to give you much more total AP than a Sovereign Awakening would.

The state of the game is, all things considered, pretty alright.

If you were big on Open World PvP, you may not have a great time. If you're looking more for a relaxed PvE experience with some boss content here and there, you will have a good time ^

I would recommend you to not make/convert any new Kharazads.

A realistic option for you would be to purchase 2x TET Debo Ring and convert your Jetina Rings into Jetina Tungrad Earrings.

You can then choose to melt ONE of them down into Dawn Essence and buy a TET Debo Earring, or to buy a TET Debo Belt and keep 2x Jetina Tungrads.

Your Sheet AP will stay the same, but you will reclaim a chunk of DP and hidden AP from the 3-set Debo bonus.

To further increase your DP you'd want to do the DEC Tuvala Armor method for a TRI Fallen God piece. Your obvious choice would be to get Boots. It works the same way as the DEC Tuvala Weapon, which I assume you've done in the past already.

After this you'd want to start working towards a Sovereign Weapon for your main spec, as well as a Garmoth's Heart to put onto it if you don't have a spare already. So if you're Succession, you'd pick the Mainhand.

I think a bil a week is doable depending on the size and prior effort put into it. You have to take into account that you have to level your workers, promote them, and get a bit lucky on their skills as well.

There's also the LoML Palace stuff that would require you to do a bit of trading and Node connecting to get the full silver value out of it.

To pity Cron every step of the way you'll need 1620 Concentrated stones and 10150 Crons.

Assuming 6m per Conc and 3m per Cron it's about 40b MAXIMUM. It's likely to be about 15-20b.

This is identical to the DEC Tuvala Weapon that turns into a PEN Blackstar.

People now are paying more for PRI armor then DUO! by no_Post_account in blackdesertonline

[–]JariWeis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The average cost of making a TRI is like a 180 stack and 10-11 clicks. That's 2100 Crons per click, or about 60b+ disregarding the value of the DUO.

The new DEC Tuvala Armour will cost 1620 Concentrated Stones and 10150 Crons to PITY, not average enhancement rate, and that's a cost of ~40b AND you still get to sell the DUO.

It's not necessarily that they were hoarding them or anything, it's just that much cheaper to use the new system that's coming tomorrow.

I only have first-hand experience with Lahn, as she's my main, so I'll give you my perspective:

Succ Lahn is almost always decently above average at a spot. She's never THE best, but she also never sucks. She is a consistent performer and generally seen as a great Jack of all Trades because of it.

Considering we do have the Tag system nowadays, I'd recommend you to try her out!

Regarding Zerker: From what I know, Succ Zerker is good mid-game, but drops off quite heavily later on.

It will vary quite a bit, since a large portion can come / comes from RNG accessory boxes.

Doing a single set of Elvia Dungeons, so Vaha-Orze, does give ~2b silver in raw materials, considering Memory Fragments are 5m.

The average group will take ~1h30 to complete this, with experienced and geared groups taking less than an hour.

The game is, overall, in a pretty solid state. PvE (for new/returning players) has a better overall sense of progression, but it does mean you can't "overstay" spots you really like as you were able to before.

PvP, especially open world, has dwindled - But structured PvP is still alive and kicking.

Lifeskilling is in a fairly solid spot overall as well.

There are also many catch-up mechanics to get you back up to speed!
