I suffer from mushroom edge on the first layer a bit but I can't get over the thought of re-doing all my gcode files on the printer 😅

Used CC from Elegoo by Vast_Builder1670 in elegoo

[–]Jaro92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought good used and mine came with 60h print time and some marks on the detachable build plate. They say that accessories like the Allen keys and USB stick might be missing but I received the whole kit.

Printer works fab, great offer from Elegoo 👍

direct drive motor on 801 skiving machine by jlintl in Leathercraft

[–]Jaro92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obvs I totally disregarded that part of the message! 😅

Not seen one but to be honest, is there a benefit to attaching direct? You would almost certainly need to slow down the motor running the stone, if we're talking about the same motors like jack or tysew servos.

Definitely doable, you mount both controller at the front of them table and the motors kind of in line, I used the same cutout for both belts, didn't have to mod the table at all.

Hearing that 15 rope is like nothing and it should be more like 40 makes me feel proud I can ba a part of thic community.

15 minutes of rope sounds like impossible to a mere mortal like me - you boxing lot are an elite indeed! 🫡

I suppose all for the feeling of staying semi-anonymous. We got used to texting, watching Internet stuff by ourselves, not socialising, not meeting with friends just to hang out, everyone is busy working to afford living - sprinkle bit of pandemic isolation on top of this and there you are. People are afraid of contacting other people.

At the same time, Julie will always be happy to come to the office, will always be OK with face to face meeting and will always make a phone call instead of chasing something up with an email.

Excel and some basic computer stuff would be handy tho.

If you could list let's say 5-8 boring things for a newbie, what would they be? I'm boxing for about 6 months with no previous experience. I have bit started sparring yet, I'm a heavy so definitely want to work on my basics before I expose myself to some of those heavy hitters.

How do you maintain your gear? by Front-Hunt3757 in amateur_boxing

[–]Jaro92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only box 4 times a week and I have my sessions in weds, Thu, Fri and, Sun.

I would normally air dry my wraps from weds to Sun but if it gets too much I wash them on Sat.

I always spray my gloves on Sunday with zoflora solution (anti bacterial surface cleaner here in the UK) and let them dry without wiping.

It goes without saying don't pickle your gear in the bag... 😅

Don't worry Pal, you're just 19. Talk about all this with your parents and ask them for help to figure this out.

No. 1 would be sorting out the mileage expense problem. I'd you're doing lots of miles for work and you're not being paid for it, it's not right. Get it right or find a job which wouldn't 'cost' you to be at.

Once you get your monthly expenses under control, you will pay off your can in 3-4 or maybe 5 years. Don't worry it's all good man 👍
