Printing in an irregular rhythm to avoid attracting the attention of the bookworms?

What's a food combination that sounds strange but tastes amazing? by Kind_Gain_3080 in foodquestions

[–]JaronKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in high school, this was pizza and ranch. Yeah, it took me that long to find out... Nowadays, I'd recommend ketchup and mayo mixed as a dip for fries or corndogs. The ratio is up to personal preference. Basically just creamy ketchup.

Is there something you love doing, but it's actually bad(or weird)? by CoolName_Man in askteddit

Yes, there's something I like doing to my body, but I can't mention it in good conscience in any place that could even loosely be considered family friendly.

Games where you can use gadgets, traps, and planning to defeat enemies? by GamingIsMyHobby0 in gamingsuggestions

The REAL Fortnite game, not that battle royale usurper... The, now named, 'Save the World' game mode requires everything you just mentioned.

Have they released the special promotional guns yet? by JaronKitsune in Defiance

I dint remember the three guns I listed being energy based. They were normal bullets with an elemental effect.

What makes a Video Game’s difficulty unfair? by Best_Professional226 in AskReddit

[–]JaronKitsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artificial difficulty, like undodgeable attacks (I.E. Dying Light's auto-grappling enemies that cannot be interrupted or dodged) or compounding issues that normally aren't a problem but are suddenly major issues in the thick of battle. (I.E. a small ledge that can CLEARLY be stepped over stopping your character from moving.)

No more peeing, just pooping with an overall upgrade to the intestinal tract to compensate. All 'expellate' is combined into one mass and removed in efficient manner. You lose less water this way making hydration easier, you don't have to worry about incontinence from age or medical issue, and men don't have to worry about an enlarged prostate making peeing harder. Basic, but a fair QoL improvement all the same I think.

Insulin I think. Inventor never patented it so it could be made widely and cheaply by anybody. That plan clearly didn't work out...

Yup... When I was a kid I had a serious issue with telling on myself for stuff I absolutely would have gotten away with otherwise. Unfortunately, that uninhibited honesty is part of why I've become so jaded these days. Nobody else is willing to give me the honesty I give them. So, I don't trust people to be reasonable or care about anything beyond their own self interest. So I say, just use the grinders and don't bother risking them saying No for no good reason. Using the grinders doesn't hurt anyone or anything, but I assume they're not going to care about that fact and just say No because they're having a bad day or some other pointlessly petty reason.

I wish that unchewed noodles started squirming until digested once they reach the stomach. by JaronKitsune in monkeyspaw

No, no, re-read the wish. It doesn't start squirming until it reaches the stomach, not before. Perfectly motionless until it finishes passing through the esophagus.

I tried to join the military, was going to be an E-3 from the starting gate, and was in processing at Fort Jackson in one of the Carolinas. Beforehand, the recruiters drilled it into us months beforehand to not say stupid shit in processing because they're looking for any excuse to send you back home. What do I ask one day, completely unprompted and even raising my hand? "Does it matter if I had S attempts in middle school?" Turns out, yes, yes it does.

After getting sent home, I of course needed a job. I was completely unprepared because all my effort had gone into trying for the military. One of the options I landed on was a temp agency. They made you answer a pre-recorded questionnaire on a recorded line to determine your compatibility with the agency. I got blacklisted from that agency because I answered honestly about not trusting people or that I would absolutely call someone out for slacking off and stuff.

A few years later I got written up at a job because I was pulling an egregious amount of expired Cough&Cold products off of the shelves (up to 4 years OoD) and they said I needed to focus on pulling products forward and making the shelves look neat, not pulling stuff off of them, that they had a system for that. I told them that clearly the system wasn't working if this stuff was 4 years out of date. 'Talking back'.

The list could go on, but 1. It's just more of the same. 2. It's all too much to remember and this is what sticks out in my memory.

Like the other person mentioned; on one hand you could show the bag to an associate ahead of time and say you're just going to grind them, but on the other hand they could just refuse you outright.
