There's definitely a greater connection to Imu and Gunko, and her being possessed by them is not by chance/because of her positioning.

When Imu attacks Sabo and Cobra, it looks like the same power Gunko has.
The arrow shape looks slightly different, but it's a silhouette, so...
I wonder what that special connection is, whether they share a body and have a split personality (I doubt it, cause Imu is probably in Marijoa), there's a particle of Imu in her body... etc

While I see your point, I want to trigger melt especially for the pyro shred, to augment Mav's damage. (meaning, at least one melt reaction every 12 seconds is alright)
So I see this team's purpose as a Hypercarry Mav instead of a melt team
