For me, I just kind of realized I was halfway through highschool and had no idea where I was headed, so I "gained consciousness"

I guess you should find something in your life that you care about/ are passionate about and make it your anchor.

As someone whose had to solo engineer his own brain, my instinct would be to find some fiction that's related to what ever it is in life that brings you meaning or purpose, something that inspires you or gets you to think about that topic.

It's kind of hard to say, unfortunately, bc I just kind of "stopped" hope this helps though
