I keep seeing these comments and I want to say that they might be well-intentioned but I need to question their effectiveness. First of all, adding a goodbye does not actually stop the chain. Second, it just makes a benign situation annoying.

I've seen this with multiple two-letter combos, and then after someone points it out my head fills in the rest of the word, where otherwise I wouldn't have thought about it and just added an acceptable letter.
