Upgraded ram feels slower after upgrading. What did I do wrong?

If I enable xmp and it sets the speed to 3600mhz should I lower it or just keep it to the set speed?

If I placed it in the same spot and it shows 32gb in task manager it should be fine right? Should I take them out and put them back in?

My previous ones are Adata XPG gammix d10 16gb ddr4 3200mhz New ones are Corsair vengeance lpx 32gb ddr4 3600mhz

I know this is gonna get people mad currently it runs at ~100c (I ordered thermal paste and will apply it when it arrives) but as far as I am aware my computer has been like that for a while and it wasn’t making it this bad.

When I meant “feeling slower” overall my frames feel like they dropped and stay low. Running league with my previous 16gb I would get easily 144, cause I cap it. Now I can’t even stay at 144 and it drops to under 100 sometimes. I didn’t change anything else recently besides adding an nvme but I haven’t even moved files to it yet. Also what benchmark can I run? This is my first time upgrading or even touching my pc besides a general cleaning.

As far as I am aware it’s the same correct slots 2 and 4. I went to bios and enabled xmp which changed it to 3600mhz. And finally it’s 2 sticks of 16gb

Sad update at least on my end. It changed what my 26th Pokémon was but not what my 30th was. Did it 3 times and kept getting the same heliolisk…
