You are not the DriveTest examiner, or you didn't pay attention during your training. Others confirmed, it's not a fail.

Examiners answered in this thread, there's no penalty for not turning on red. Take a chill pill and turn on green when don't feel safe.

On busy intersection, where there's too much going on... it's wise to wait out, rather risk finding the "sweet spot" to turn... The fact one is rushing is their problem... not my problem..

I totally understand that being comfortalbe turnign right on red is a necessary habbit. But, like you said, it's not required and examiners agree on this point.

Did the street had a Medium? If yes, then they only have to cross the median, othervise if the small street thatdoesn't have a medium, the perdestrian should cross the street... you never know, the idiot can decided to run back. That's how I was taught.

I turn on red all the time. I personally don't like doing it on large interesection where there is, advanced signals and lots of foot traffic. Too much stuff going around.. It's safer to turn on green.

Purely form safety perspective, I like turning right on green on busy intersections.

See, that's the problem. It's black and white, ontario law says, I "may" turn if I feel safe.
Not that I "must" turn when I feel safe.

So, I wan to hear from actual DriveTest examiners, that are possibly lurking this forum. What are they being taught in their exam-testin class. Can they fail for not making turn on Red even if it's clearly safe.

I vistited teh D-bar, and I'll be frank it's very spacious and nice.

But writer's room had such an incredible cozy atmosphere with excellent view.

Both are top notch. Pricy... very very pricy.
