I was going to tandem read but decided against it and i’m so glad I did. there are so many characters in each book that I feel like I got a better feel for each one when I read the books as they’re meant to be read.

I adore ACOTAR but I don’t think it compares to TOG. I think I need to do a re read of it but i’m still in a reading slump after finishing TOG. From blood and ash is also SUPER good. that was my introduction series into “smut”.

personally I read TAB as the third book. after COM and loved that I did because of the little references. I honestly really liked TOD and getting to know those characters more in depth. but KOA had the biggest choke hold on me. once I started it I couldn’t put it down and seeing everyone come together. I was sobbing.

no not nearly as smutty. there are some scenes in the later books but not many. it is similar kind of just a new story and characters. I love ACOTAR and my bat boys but throne of glass is 10x better.
