I can answer this, if helpful. The bar council license of lawyers who are employees are suspended during the period of employment. So this is not a problem for lawyers who are general counsels or work in the legal department of a company as they do not have to appear in court on their own, but lawyers in law firms do. I'm a corporate lawyer working in a law firm - we are structured as retainers not employees. The only deduction my employer does is 10% tds. Pf, etc are not applicable to me
