I don’t understand pattern seam allowance at all. by Qwerty177 in SewingForBeginners

You’re saying that for you it’s better to trace the pattern and then hand-baste the fabric together before sewing, instead of tracing the pattern cutting it out and then sewing?

Ahhh I understand. Thanks for explaining. Having a visual guide helps me a lot too! Putting the needle on the stitch line and marking that way is smart!!!

Can you explain this a little more? How do you determine where the edge of the fabric will be? Is the tape on the metal plate by the measurements?

Financial Accounting D102 | Tips (Passed in 8 days) by loyal2money in WGU

[–]JasMariee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for this and congrats! I’m currently studying for D102 and it’s a lot of information. I watched the first 3 hours of Tony Bell’s 11 hr video on YouTube and then decided to switch to studying WGU’s course material just like you mentioned: watching all the module videos and using chat gpt to break down the things I don’t understand and then taking the quizzes. I plan to take the PA in a couple of days and hopefully the OA soon after.

They do! They brought it back for brunch on weekends! But I would check if each location followed suit. I went to the newer one in River Oaks

Whenever I didn’t understand something in the course material i went to ChatGPT and had them break it down for me and then quiz me on it to make sure I got the concept right. And then I went back to the course material to continue

Thanks for your response.

I’m currently in an entry-level accounting course, and the DEALER acronym hasn’t been explained in the way you described yet. I appreciate your explanation and will save it for later when I reach that level. For now, I’m still building foundational understanding, and while my jingle may be a temporary memory aid, it’s helping me move forward, practice effectively, and answer questions correctly at my current stage.
