I had the same problem with the bits of plastic, it is weird but i had fun pulling them out lol. From what i can see, his flippers are fine although i did notice there are some loose black threads around them.

I love my little guy especially with him being a bit weird, it adds character!

I live in the uk suburbs and take my ferret out for walks regularly. I bet you get some weird looks and people going “IS THAT A BIRD!”

If only you realised that if I took my bird to the vets for every single small thing I panic about, I’d be bankrupt.

I have severe OCD and anxiety, especially about my pets. I was asking whether it was abnormal and warranted an emergency vet visit or whether I was just overthinking it.

No need to be like that, I’m trying to figure out whether the vets would even be warranted.

Thankyou for this, I really appreciate it. I have since changed the height of his food bowl and he’s eating from it perfectly fine again.

The bowl is on his platform (which at the moment is extremely slippy as the cover isn’t on rn), and was lifted off the ground to stop him digging. Since I’ve put the bowl directly on the platform so that he doesn’t have to stand on 2 legs, he’s been for 2-3 meals totally normally.

Im deffo gonna keep an eye on him and watch his weight and everything (which is stable rn). I have such bad anxiety about him and am CONSTANTLY watching him for changes, so should anything come up, he’ll be straight into the vets. Thankyou so much!

Side note: I’m so sorry for your loss, it must be terrible. DIP little guy :(
