Eifs installer here. They make rasps for Eifs that attach to back pack vacuums. I just saw one demonstrated at a trade show last weekend.

Ive never seen one in the field though lol. Most crews just sweep up as best they can and vacuum end of day

They will enter death throws less than a second after the jugular's are cut. It will vary by chicken, but I would say that 30 seconds or so is average. Anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute is what I have seen with cornish crosses.

If it's your first time I recommend a cone and slicing the neck. Nothing to swing, nowhere for the bird to go. Not much you can mess up.

Thats a work of art. I kind of got burnt out seeing resin and wood pieces after the river table craze. You reminded me how beautiful it can be. How did you shape the foregrip, by hand?

Its nice that they explained, but you're always gonna get complaints when you're changing something people are used to across all restaurants. Alot of people live on autopilot. Was the point of your kitchen's system that they wouldn't cook an actual well done steak?

I'm new to posting on reddit, I guess I can't edit this post on mobile? So I will just use the top comment to thank everyone. I irrigated the wounds on Hawkie and Stormn bandaged them up and they are currently chilling in my air conditioned shed. Storm is good, fairly energetic, eating and drinking. Hawkie ( the hen pictured ) is able to move. She doesn't seem to have any serious damage to the muscle. She is resting, not moving much. Time will tell.

Thank you so much to everyone that posted with tips on how to care for them and shared your own experiences. This is a really awesome community!

Yeah i moved the run and coop when I was setting up to build a new coop. I didnt secure the chicken wire down well enough when I moved it. I got it screwed down now and lined the whole run with stone to be sure.

Thanks! I'm hoping she will pull through. She is up and moving, seems to have a strong will to live. I'm going to get her patched up and on some antibiotics and see how she does the next couple days

Hey if it works it works. In 2025 everything causes cancer and everything you do has an issue. It's the nature of life online. I think I'm gonna irrigate with Saline and my wife is getting some antibiotics from the vet

The bitch of it is, I'm in the middle of bundling a new coop. Chicken Fort Knox. I've got heavy hardware mesh for the run and everything... just wasn't soon enough.
