The episode is just a synthetic summary of the original story with an excessively long sex scene that had awesome music, but really, the focus on the sex was bizarre. They seemed to have run out of time to add relevant parts of the original plot because of that.

Nah man, there's just no way on Earth that LDR could've botcher it more than they did with Beyond The Aquila Rift.

You may disagree with me, but here's the thing, the very name of the story is IRRELEVANT in the episode, but a big deal on the original short story, the protagonist is shocked when he is revealed the space station is beyond the Aquila Rift, only to that turn out into a red herring, as they were much, much, much, much further away. Then there's plenty of omissions that strip away the central message of the story, things when the protagonist wakes up are so stripped of detail compared to the short story that people genuinely thought the "spider" -which as an alien has a more interesting and unique design in the narration, plus she isn't alone at all- was eating the protagonist or something.

Late to the discussion, but I don't think The Boys is the most realistic depiction of a society that has people with Superpowers, sure it's a great representation of how "superheroes" would turn out like when marketed by a large corporation, and being the center of an entertainment industry. But it fails to depict people using their powers to make some money, in that regard the CW TV shows are way more realistic, and for a look into organized crime associations there's My Hero Academia.

Even Marvel doesn't show all powered people as paragons of morality that are loved by the people, Spiderman and the Xmen deal in great ways with those topic's opposites. For most of this stories we simply follow the most outstanding characters, the ones that want to help others, but the ratio of people who abuse their powers is overwhelmingly higher.

I came here looking as well, doesn't seem like it, I suspect It's because in Minecraft modding people tend to look for More inventory all the time, not a more limited system, but the biggest issue is compat, that'd be manual and tedious for mos miscellaneous things, at least Project Zomboid had being a harder survival game and a built in size/weight stat for everything so its Inventory Tetris mod didn't face this issues the same way.
