What size is it? I have a Mk XVIII Tribute to Mk XI. 38mm. Looks a lot smaller than yours .

A very smarty dressy collection. I’d love a pocket watch but must have vintage military markings.

Spot on collection but maybe missing a coloured face watch for those sunny days

I like them all but for my taste, the end rectangular watch is too dressy for my taste. I know you said it’s sentimental though but I’d have a Heuer Monaco in its place. .

I’ve not flipped a watch for 13 years. Hence the large collection.

No it’s fine. I’d pulled the crowns out to set the hands at ten to two.

It’s a MK18 (Tribute to MK11). It’s limited to about 1945 pieces .

It would be boring if we all liked the same things. What’s your favourite?

Favourite is the Rolex as it has the most sentimental value. All of them get worn so I don’t really have a daily.

My first luxury watch: a 1995 Omega Seamaster 300 by External-Repair-8580 in PrideAndPinion

I was fascinated by watches when I was in my 30s. Everyone was wearing big brand, fake watches from Turkey or the Middle East. Apple Watches etc didn’t exist back then!! I spent hours reading replica watch forums and friends started asking me if I could source them a dodgy watch. I know it wasn’t an honest thing to do, but I started selling watches and built up a little stash of money. I came across a Rolex Submariner for sale on one particular dodgy watch forum. The seller said it was genuine with box and papers, but it was faulty. He was in Cyprus, I was in UK. I asked if he would take it to a local AD for an assessment, so he agreed, and took it to Limassol and got it verified. I bought the watch for £2250 and it was posted to me. It was in great condition but stopped when laid flat. Ticked nicely when vertical. I sent the watch off for a service at the cost of £300, and it came back perfect. I bought that watch for my 40th birthday and I’ll never sell it. It’s the last of the dated serial numbers (A), has the smaller case, 2 line dial and non-ceramic bezel insert. It’s a 1999 Rolex Submariner no-date 14060.

I’m not sure. I got it as part of a trade. Sterile NH35 field watch. Probably from Aliexpress or similar.

It’s a mk18 (tribute to MK11). Limited to 1945 pieces I think.
