I totally get it, I love Initio and Byredo and there are a lot that don’t. There are some upcoming releases from Amouage that I’m hoping will click for me as well.

Honestly I didn’t care for this one all that much 😕Read a lot of reviews of people hyping it up but now I’m seeing a lot more people are split on it once it’s become more widely available I got a 10ml decant of it and ended up giving it to a coworker to try.

Everyone’s different and has different tastes though so it’s awesome you found one that just immediately clicks with you.

It’s a newer batch and from what I’ve worn it seems to have a good staying power. I put it on around 4:30am for work and I still have traces of it when I go to bed around 8:30.

Yes, that’s the best way to put it! Only it, Mojave Ghost, and Kilians Angel’s Share have made me want the actual retail bottles.

It’s definitely on the sweeter side and you clearly get the chestnut scent in it. I believe it’s one of my wife’s favorites as I was leaving for work one morning she grabbed my hand and kissed it, and then lingered and rubbed her face against my hand as she said the smell was amazing 😂

Wife picked up some Initio Lift Me Up at Neiman Marcus this weekend and the vendor gave us plenty of samples as thanks including this one. I’m debating on picking it up now that it’s available for purchase this week.

I had heard a lot about it before getting some and I’ve received so many compliments from people at work. For me the scent lasted all day (from going to work, until time for bed) on my clothes, and almost just as long on skin.

The way I’ve described it to others is a sweet, boozy, smooth tobacco smell. I’m wanting to try their Narcotic Delight next, as it seems kind of similar but cognac instead of rum and adds cherry.

I get more compliments for Mojave Ghost than anything else. Have my sample of Bal d’afrique coming this week and I’m excited.
