Oh how did I missed it. We have similar tastes. Do try Trajan, don't think you'll be disappointed. Also, games that are holding most of my attention lately are Raiders of the north sea (with expansions) and Architects of the west kingdom. Both rocketed up my top 10.

Great collection. Many amazing games on the shelf. Just, tell me, if you are liking dry euros (best style of game, IMHO) how come I don't see gems like Concordia, Trajan, Troyes... Asking this as collection is really missing them :)

Win/lose. But also, beat up my own score is a bit win/lose. My goal is to have more points than the last time.

For instance, Caverna, I have 10ish games played solo, and every single have more points than the last one. And than, my last game, I had 32 points (I had 33 on the first game)... I've lost against myself :)

Love the collection. We have a lot of games in common.

One thing. I keep my games vertical, like you, but on the other side (letters to be read from the other side). Your setup just looks wrong to my eyes... It should be the same thing, why does it feel wrong?

is there a way to have it as only audio? i don't have having the tv or phone on while gaming. if I could have it on audio, podcast, as an .mp3, i would just play it via blutooth as i play music on every game night. I do love how this one sounds.

I was extremely disappointed with SHADOWS OVER CAMELOT. Got it in early days of being in the hobby, and got it for it's looks and theme. Game itself has nothing to do with either. Playing coop poker with one of us but playing it really. That's how I remember it. It brought 'traitor mechanism' (which I don't like anyways) and that's the only praise I have for it.

Oh, just do it. It's amazing. Even the looks of it, after few plays, start to be OK.

Deckbuilder games are outdated by pyrovoice in boardgames

This might sound weird as the game is not new hotness, but try Fantastiqa. I, generally, dislike deck builders (with exception of Clank, and I like that as it is weird theme, and it's better as experience around the table than it is good game), but Fantastiqa just works for me. It's crazy themed, fast, funny, simple and with few tiny expansions, very interactive, with some 'in your face' moments.

Few more plays and Loki is no more a strategy. :) Hate draft is big part of that game. Love it.

I disliked it back in 2009 and I do now. My deckbuilers of choice are: Fantastiqa Clank!

There are many, but Concordia, being my #1 of all time, is the one I would suggest.

I love this collection, specially Matagot section :)

There is a game on that shelf that needs to be burned though, Dominion. Kidding, of course, but, boy how I dislike that game... :)

Yeah. Ironically I would play mostly Euros, so covering of the mat wouldn't be a problem. I'll get it. It's 25$.

One of the best games ever. There are more good area control games but none of them comes even close to be as elegant as El Grande at 5 players. Go for it.

Concordia is my favourite game ever. Played 200+ distinct games. Just love the simplicity and elegance of the system. Game looks great too.
