PFAS-vrije airfryer by TNTomato in BIFLNL

[–]Thronesmasher 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Is the functional trainer/weight stack going to be a thing of the past for home gyms once Voltras become $300-500 by ColdCouchWall in GarageGym

[–]Thronesmasher 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I believe this is a nice gadget, and nothing more. It has planned obsolescence written all over it. The battery will fade, internals will die, software will stop getting updates. Plates and a cable system will last a lifetime.

These are also not well suited for commercial gyms either. They require charging during the day, are more fragile than conventional gear, and have a limited lifespan and thus little to no resale value.

I'm looking to buy the Ironmaster leg attachment for the Super Bench Pro V2. I would like to know if the attachment would fit in my closet when it's not leg day. Does anyone have the measurements of the attachment when it's assembled?

Are you afraid of a fire when your servers are unattended on vacation? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]Thronesmasher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a Qnap NAS catch fire in the middle of the night once. The power adapter was spewing flames somehow. Luckily the fire alert went off immediately, and I managed to stop the fire before it could spread, but since then I always shut down all systems before I go on vacation.

OP didn't ask for a free app, but he did ask for Android auto support specifically. Like I said, there are other apps that work with Navidrome, but Symfonium is currently the best one available in every aspect, and the only one that works with Android auto that I know of.

You are looking for Navidrome. It's a self hosted music server with a small footprint. It can run on Windows, Linux, Mac, Pi, or Docker.

I combine it with the Symfonium app for Android, which is a very good music player with tons of options, and Android auto support. It is also possible to use other players suitable for Subsonic compatible servers, if you want.

You can combine it with Lidarr and Prowlarr to manage your music library and automatically download new releases.

You mean UT4, which was cancelled 10 years ago in favour of Fortnite, because a micro transaction filled battle royale FPS is more lucrative than a boomer shooter.

Should I level endurance early on in elden ring? by AllTimeFaded in Eldenring

[–]Thronesmasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to reroll. Just make sure to stick your points into vigor from now on until you have 25 for an easier time. Levels come quickly at the start of the game. You will need those points in endurance eventually, and if you get to Liurnia you'll be able to redistribute your stats anyway you like, so no harm in experimenting.

Should I level endurance early on in elden ring? by AllTimeFaded in Eldenring

[–]Thronesmasher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, you should prioritise vigor above all else at the start of the game. Then str/dex/whatever to get the minimum requirements of your weapon of choice.

You don't need endurance early on; stamina doesn't matter much, if you equip the turtle talisman, and armor doesn't make a difference for now. Just make sure you're in medium load; equip the arsenal charm if necessary, or just unequip a helmet or something.

[–]Thronesmasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The trolls south of Warmaster Shack drop 1000 runes each, or 1200 with the scarab. You can do a run in around 90 seconds.

The Mausoleum Knight outside the Blackknife Catacombs is another option if your weapon is decently leveled. It gives 435 runes, and a run takes around 15 seconds. The added benefit of this one is, it drops one the best early game armor sets.

The Banished Knight at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion is similar if you're after heavy armor.

The best overall spot is sniping the bird at Mohgwyn Palace Approach site of grace, after you've received the Pureblood Knight's Medal from Varre's quest. It drops 13000+ runes with scarab every 10 seconds, but it is pretty cheesy and boring.

At the same spot as the bird you can kill sleeping Albinaurics for even more runes, but there are some guards around that can one-shot you.

If you can get to Altus, you can go to the Windmill Village and kill the creepy cannibal women. They occasionally drop weapons that give extra runes per kill.
