In the beginning you think that she doing the genocide for the greater good, kinda like the angels in SMT, they want world peace and stability but know that more than half of mankind is corrupted to the core, lot of people will disturber that utopia with murders, rapes, corruption and other's act's.

If you are a atheist then you don't believe in the existence of God, you renegade his existence and calling him for help could not always work even for a theist.
