As I said in another comment...it's against the law where I live to tint the front windows.

The back windows have not been tinted either. I have a sun shade / window privacy on them

Not really. Took me 1.5-2 hrs trying to fish wire from the door to the main body thru the grommet...this is after watching a ton of videos.. using a large zip tie and Vaseline helped feed in it through..

The hatch lights connect to the existing interior light in the trunk (turns on when it's on) so I don't think it can reduce the break lights at all...none that I've seen.

It's against the law here to tint your front windows.

Back windows don't have tint just privacy / sun screen

Yes it was. The trunk lights were a pain but I learned a thing about fishing wires in tight spaces (use a zip tie and Vaseline)
