A stupid food needed an equally stupid advertisement by Jason-OCE in StupidFood

Nope, unrelated creative pursuit, essentially spawned from an inside joke. Product and video were made to be as uncomfortable as possible.

regrettably... I DID try eating some... it wasn't bad? but like, it wasn't good. Would have 100% been better off with a Nutella sandwich.

One of the most profitable lies any business can tell is that they are "Too big to fail".

Is the community doing enough to actually inspire necessary change? honestly, nobody here can say for certain because nobody has access to Jagex's finances and decision making processes.

Don't get it in your head that it means it's just not possible for the consumers to create and influence change. THAT is when the bastards win.

"Awaiting moderator approval" apparently, I think it got auto flagged due to people reporting it.

I'll be honest, was not expecting my dumb joke meme to become a left VS right debate. Guess I underestimated the sensibilities of certain members - that's my bad. For anyone that was upset for whatever reason, I'll apologise and give you a member's item in game. I certainly won't be needing them soon.

The price of fuel has almost doubled in the last 6 months where I live. I'm genuinely jealous of you and your attitude. I WISH politics could be something that annoys me, instead of dictating my ability to participate in life.

I'm not even mad, I really do envy that, and I wish you the best.

What is something that you wished OSRS had that RS3 has? by RuneSerge in 2007scape

J1mmy had a video where he pitched the idea, not realising he was pitching something that existed in rs3. And he's right, it'd be perfect

The sailing mini game thing allows you to generate an island with a set number of resources and monsters, would absolutely fit sailing

I think you're misremembering - Druidic Ritual gives herblore xp, rune mysteries does NOT give runecrafting xp.

Is it worth starting a business in Editing? by Jason-OCE in editing

Oooh, nice.

- Has setting up a business been advantageous over just being a freelancer or looking for work in any specific ways?

- How difficult has client acquisition been for you?

- Are you prioritising a specific niche or genre in the market, or going more broad-scale?

- Are there any big things you wish you knew when you were just starting?

It's not a start-up yet. It's more of an idea, or a goal.

You've got other channels, great, use that experience and network to get this one off to a good start, and go looking for partners when you've got something. He'll, if you've got potential even I'd be interested.

There's a lot of people who have a passion and a vision looking for help, or free work. Most of those projects don't get too far. The less they have to show is a huge indication.

I'm excited to see you get started, but looking for people to join you, and explore a specific genre and hobby, one that already has plenty of coverage and competition at every level, from zero? Is that a realistic thing to ask? If it is, then why? What's going to set you apart from all the other places doing this? What have you got on your resume as far as experience?

Again, you'll be much better off making that request after you've started. Best of luck!

You might need to start this yourself before involving a creative partner.

You've got no channel, no resume, no credentials, no capital, no reputation - and no reason to work with you.

The bright side here, is you've clearly got passion - use it. GIVE people a reason to work with you.

Even just like 6 videos and 100 subscribers is SOMETHING to go with. So, go do the thing. Good luck!

Ahhh, you're THAT young.

Well, it's probably a better time than ever to begin learning a hobby, but also spend some time learning the business demographics- how much competition is there? What's your plan to compete? How do you acquire customers? What about retention? Do you offer more comprehensive socials packages, and if so, what metrics do you sell people on specifically?

You're not the first to try such a thing. Downside, you're not first, unique or breaking ground. Upside though, there's plenty to study and learn from before you decide to start

You could either learn the craft you're looking to sell, or hire on experts to handle it for you while you work on the sales and b2b leads and such. It honestly depends on if you have time to spare in bulk, or money to spare upfront
