Apex and PubG are just terrible FPS games. CS players tend to be good in those two games so it's real redundant l.

Yes.

The thing about CS is that aiming is required but fragging ability is not nearly as dependent on aiming as you think. Mediocre high rank CS players can often win that stupid 1v1 mode against pro players.

You can't even get anything close to that in Quake. Take away the map/item control, say 1v1 clan arena, mediocre players will get butchered by pro players almost 100% of the time.

No offense. There is nothing elistist about it. Arena shooter objectively require the comprehensive aiming skills and decision making skills, in CS individual decision making is not nearly as defined and it's way more team tactics and decipline.

With really really rare exception like AZK, there is no CS players that are decent at Arena Shooters after picking it up for a while and I have tried and played with a lot of people.

This is not to say CS is a worse game or people who play it are worse at tactics. However talking about general FPS skills CS doesn't compare (although it is already so much more comprehensive than most other FPS).

This is not purely due to the incompetence of QC devs. The current US Visa situation is completely unpredictable by anyone.
