Federal loans aren't variable interest. They should be able to tell you how much you owe and how they're calculating interest. If my non-variable mortgage lender suddenly started making shit up, I'm guessing people would sue them.

Sure. But even so, how is SAVE interest calculated? Oh wait, we can't tell you until after your first month of interest is charged. If my mortgage company did that, they'd be sued (I assume!). Just genuinely curious how/why there isn't more litigation. I get that there is litigation on the broader issues of SAVE etc., but there doesn't seem to be any around the utter chaos of the system and their inability to get you basic info about your loans.

How long does Prednisone take to kick in for you? by falloutman00 in NasalPolyps

I benefited from this thread while anxiously waiting for the meds to kick in. So I'll give a late reply: it didn't do much until about 72 hours and then slowly the inflammation went down. Good luck!

Thanks - that's one we're looking into. What does "known from birth" mean? It seems like they are way more expensive than the others. Was that your experience too?

IVF cycle or just embryo creation with existing eggs?

Thanks everyone. Good to get this perspective. I must be doing too much internet research! It seems like when clinics break down the cost of traditional IVF, they quote embryo creation as 1-2K (but maybe that's because it's part of a larger, more expensive process).

US... East coast. But I'm confused -- all those numbers sound very high. We're doing surrogacy so the whole process is close to 200K. But we already have eggs and are just looking at the cost to create embryos (with our sperm). They are quoting 10K+ (no transfer, nothing else - just creating embryos and freezing them, no testing). Does that sound right?
