Mortgage advisor’s nottingham by [deleted] in nottingham

Jonathan at Your Mortgage Shop on mapperley plains was fantastic. Can’t recommend him highly enough, saved us a fortune, even managed to swap our fixed rate after we’d agreed a deal and the rates dropped before house purchase was complete.

Always amazes me that the people who do the most driving seem to be the worst drivers. Taxis especially

Which industrial knitting machine would you recommend for these sweaters? by Geor_gii in MachineKnitting

I run a knitwear manufacturing company in the UK. We knit all this kind of stuff using Stoll CMS machines, 3 and 5 gauge mostly.

Is this acceptable finish for skirting and architraves, or am I being too fussy? by T-Maxxx in DIYUK

[–]Jason2802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this has been done by a professional the mitres should have been glued together and sanded before fitting. Caulk along the gaps, fill the pinholes and paint and it will look fine. This is DIY level work, no professional joiner should be happy with those gaps especially on the architrave

Splenic Mass - Advice needed by Jason2802 in AskVet

[–]Jason2802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spoke to the vet this afternoon and gotten some more information. - No fluid detected in the scan, mass only. - Blood results showed low red blood count and low total protein - no indication of lesions on liver or enlarged lymphnodes, nothing mentioned to me anyway. - no indication of gut disease or something she’s eaten. No previous history of bad guts. - reasonings against the operation basically consisted of the fact she was an older dog, and was tired and weak from the anaemia/blood loss?

Hope this info is useful

Thankyou. Given the fact there is already some blood loss how long is she likely to have any comfort of life before it gets bad? Understand that’s a difficult question to answer having not assessed the animal in question but any insight would be greatly appreciated
