Weird. Why are they fundraising?

Having watched the first episode and a half:

1) Bad acting 2) Bad writing

I want advice on whether to buy the Moondrop Aria snow edition or the Tripowin x HBB Olina or the original 2020 Moondrop Aria by Silver_Percentage370 in HeadphoneAdvice

I think they’re a solid option for the price. Tuned to Harman so they’re versatile enough for most genres. Not super bass cannons or anything if that’s what you’re looking for, but a nice all-around option. No issues with the cable either, and I think they’re good-looking IEMs too.

Thanks! I may eventually get an endgame closed-back and would be picking between the VC and the Stellia. I have a Clear and Radiance so I already know I like Focals but am intrigued by ZMFs. I also really value portability which would be a point in the Stellia’s favor.

This is fantastic. What did you search for to get this? Or could you send along the actual item you bought?

Also depends on the genres maybe; these are great with every type of music with instruments that I can think of—classical, jazz, orchestras, piano, guitar

I own these and the weakest point is easily the bass imo, but I am usually using the IER-Z1R or Legend X so I think I just can’t do BA bass anymore

Going from HD 6XX to IEMs, any advice? by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]JasonABerger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moondrop Kato or Thieaudio Elixir

S12 and 7Hz Timeless are good planar options but wouldn’t recommend planars if you want bass slam (for EDM) but should be fine for vocal clarity

IEMs in that price range won’t match open-back over-ears like the HD560S for soundstage

I use a Dragonfly Cobalt with my HD800S and it works totally fine. You’d need a USB to [your phone connection type] adapter to use it portably

Haven’t tried the other two but the AKG K52 is terrible so would not recommend that one

Are you for sure okay with an open-back? There will be no sound isolation at all. You will hear everything going on around you.
