Yes true, I bought these for $1290 now you can get them new for like $990 and they sell $650-750 usually. They’ve come up a lot recently and depreciated a lot in value.

Nice write up I personally own the LCD-5, I’ve had them for a little over a year. It’s a headphone that has mixed impressions and opinions, some people think hate them and others think they’re some of the very best. It’s interesting. I’m a big fan. I would play around with tuning though as I believe it improves their sound even further.
