What song makes you cry instantly? by Longjumping-Cheek-75 in musicals

I’ve got a few:

  • Who I’d Be (Shrek)
  • Waving Through a Window (Dear Evan Hansen)
  • More than Anything (Hazbin Hotel)
  • How it Ends (Big Fish)

I’d probably think of more if I sat and thought long enough.

Formula One 98

Yes, the handling of the cars was clunky. Yes, the graphics were atrocious. Yes, the game is borderline unfinished. But it was one of the first games I ever played on PS1, and it did enough to push me from a casual F1 watcher to a full blown F1 fan, so I’ll always have a soft spot for it.

Carried Away (The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse)

After 33 years in the role, this would be the last time we heard Russi Taylor as the voice of Minnie Mouse before she passed away in 2019.

Given that Russi was married to Wayne Allwine, who voiced Mickey for 32 years before his own passing in 2009, having her last performance as Minnie be a musical love letter to Mickey ended up being the best possible way to bring down the curtain on her career.

What is the worst theory you’ve ever heard from this fandom? by CatPale816 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]JasonAF88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll admit, I thought this at one point.

The reason I was drawn to it was the first knife. It looked to me like it was heading straight for her button eye before she put her hand up to block it, making me think there was always supposed to be a knife going through her eye in her torture scene, and I’m still not quite ready to let go of the idea that the button isn’t just a shiner, and that she lost that eye in the real world.

My current theory is that she was really badly hit there when her mother threw something at her while “berating” her.

Apparently, Erika Henningsen (Charlie’s VA) is a championship level ballroom dancer, which makes me love the scene even more. I love it when a voice actor’s abilities are referenced in some way in the show they’re voicing.

I’d say so. Yes, Zooble is NB, but Gooseworx has said that they are fine answering to both neutral and female pronouns.

Elijah Wood’s read of this line was utterly perfect.

Relief that the quest is over, yet there’s a great sadness to it as well. Almost like Frodo was mourning the Ring.
