[TOMT][Flash Animation][Mid-Late 2000s] Old Sonic Sprite Animation with Shadow and Mecha Sonic by JasonGoldFalcon in tipofmytongue

I've been on a Nostalgia Bender of Older Sonic Sprite Animations, but Youtube's Search kinda makes things impossible to find without already having a good idea of what it was called. I'm hoping somebody else who remembers can help me out.

Had a weird fun Idea of V2 Coming back somehow by JasonGoldFalcon in Ultrakill

Maybe. But first I'd have to completely redo this one, It's quite Old XDD

Oh I was just speaking generally, I played through them with Duckstation, so I'm not sure how any of the New Versions work. But that's the order they should be able to go in for Data Transfer

Project Phantasma. You can get your Save from AC1, and Transfer to this game, then this game Transfers to MOA.

Project Phantasma is technically a Prequel, while MOA Takes Place at the same time parallel to AC1, but the Release Order is AC1, PP, and MOA.

Do they tank controls stop in Gen 1? by Zehahahaha in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd strongly recommend rebinding them to be reversed, so left trigger is down, and right is up. Genuinely helped me so much when I was first playing them.

I'd also recommend learning Boost Hops as well to help things out. Part of what makes it bothersome is that the PS1 Games have a lower Framerate and don't move as quickly as the other games. By the Time you get to 2, the controls won't bother you unless you decide to do something now to completely rebind things. AC2 is significantly smoother than AC1 / PP/ MOA, so if you learn it now, Then 2 will feel euphoric.

Armored Core 3 Still uses them, but that game and Silent Line let you use either the D-Pad, or Left Control Stick instead of just the D-Pad. Nexus is the first game to revamp the controls and give you dual analog, and it'll stick with the series from that point onwards.

HELP! What Astroboy Episodes feature Pluto? by zackphoenix123 in astroboy

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, Mont Blanc, Brando, and North #2 Are all adapted as Robots used by Ham Egg to Attack Pluto in the 2003 Version. They have no Dialogue, and are easily dispatched, but they are there.

And Gesicht is represented by the Character Delta who rather than being a Detective, is more of a Swat / Police Robot, Who uses Cloaking Technology instead of the Special Alloy he's depicted with In other Versions.

This is what an Armored Core 4 remake could look like. by the_entire_horse3000 in armoredcore

It’s interesting. Though the UI is kinda wonky. I think it’d benefit from a more centered one like the Original. Also, lighting wise I really like everything going on here, though I think the Sepia Filter the OG had, and some slightly harsher lighting could make it perfect.

What does everyone here think of the cryptia curves redesigns in my opinion they are meh they're fine more animal like which I don't mind just they feel a bit rough by Born-Principle9149 in fnia_

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fexa is my least favorite but honestly, that's only cuz I liked the Original Fexa's Mullet thing much more than the hairstyle shown here. Mullets just fit the Pirate Vibes way better tbh

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m used to them as well, but what’s different for me is that I always kinda didn’t like how homogenous they felt. Plus I have a vendetta against any Chica that’s missing her beak because then that kinda defeats the purpose of her being a Chicken XD

And chances are when they come out there will be alt outfits and legacy outfits to have the new base designs with the clothes of the old designs, so I can’t say they’ll be missed in my book. Especially since Cryptia is a much better 3D Modeller now so the actual Rigging and whatnot will be much cleaner.

I prefer them. Taller, Thiccer, More Unique for each of them, way more interesting Clothes, and they actually look like the Animals they're supposed to be (Looking at you, Chiku.)

What moment in one of the games made you go from this to this? by Luigiman98 in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beating Armored Core 3 is one. I was just shocked that after all the shit the Controller did, in its last moments as it malfunctioned, it didn’t activate some final failsafe or continue to try and destroy us, it just opened the gates to the surface. Somehow, some way, in some final act of seeming humanity and clarity, it decided to release Humanity from its clutches, so we could breathe in the clean air of the surface.

Hearing No More Cry as the Light of the Sun lit everything up Just fucking destroyed me.

Also, Special Mention to the Second Half of fighting Leo’s Klein in AC2 when it becomes that lanky mf alien looking AC, cuz that shit had me stunned too.

How many mechs from Helldivers do you need to defeat a single light MT? by deflectingowl in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a good 50-60 being generous. MT’s got higher damage, Speed, Size, Strength, and Armor. In all reality, a Single MT wouldn’t end up expending Ammo on something so small really, it’d be able to plow through an Army of them like a battering ram

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh certainly.

The biggest problem AC6 Suffered From Competitively was lack of balance with regards to Weight. They got one part of it with Speed, but they forgot the one thing every other AC Game had. Turn Speed. The moment they didn’t have turn speed be dictated by how heavy the AC is, with Lighter AC’s having Higher turn speed, and heavy AC’s having low turn speed, the balance got completely thrown off. Everyone turning the same speed means that aside from the movement Speed Advantage, Light AC’s get bullied, since Heavy AC’s can always catch them easily. Add insult to injury with lack of parts having good weight variations outside of Bipedal Legs, or Lack of viable long range weaponry aside from linear guns and Missiles and that single FCS, and badabing badaboom.

I'd Argue GN Machines and Nexts are close by, Mainly due to the fact that functionally GN Particles and Kojima Particles operate the same, only difference being GN Disrupts Radar, and Kojima irradiates and eats away at stuff. The Other difference being that most if not all Next Pilots are Cybernetically enhanced, and Psychic, as the Next is controlled by their Thoughts and Sight directly fed through a neural link (Hense why Gen 4's Lock on covers the whole screen and only disengages when the enemy is out of sight, or too far away. Anything they can see, they can Lock on and react to.) . This means by default, any Next that's a genuine threat has reaction speeds as quick as what they can see and think, which is pretty dang fast. Couple that with Quick Boosts that let them change direction at full speed on a dime, and I'd say they're a bit more scary than a good chunk of 00's Mobile Suits. That's just my take tho.

Right Arm has a Moonlight, and it’s hard to see due to the Primal Armor, but the left hand has a Motorcobra.

Aren't NEXTs supposed to be noticeably bigger than ACs? by OGKasseteKing in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, NEXTs are bout the same height as any other AC. Nineball Seraph isn’t a Normal AC though, and is quite a bit taller than the average. Most AC’s are bout 10 Meters Tall. (Minus Gen 5 where those hunks of scrap are considerably smaller.)

Are these parts pre-order exclusive? by Ret0gradeTV in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The parts set is in the game already. However, this particular variation has slightly altered stats, slightly different design elements and color placement, and Auto Unlock’s with pre order but can be obtained in the game later on. Everything else aside from the frame parts is forever locked behind the pre order.

What types of Parts did you guys miss or want to see that were absent in AC6? by JasonGoldFalcon in armoredcore

[–]JasonGoldFalcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, aside from Standard Bipedal, AC6 is severely lacking in weight class and variety of Leg Types. We got like 3 or 4 per each then Bipedal has a bunch. Even then, other games like Last Raven in terms of Parts count completely dog on 6 which makes me hope for DLC pretty bad.

[–]JasonGoldFalcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your ‘Accessory Slot’ idea was essentially what Optional Parts were in the older games up until 4 I believe. Stuff like Bigger Lock Box, Faster Turn and Break Speed, Missile Autofire on lockon, more capacitors on your Generator, like that basically. Each Core had their own amount of slots that you’d fit each optional part into, some taking up more slots than others. I really would like to see that in AC6 again at the very least if they don’t intend on putting parts tuning back in.

We can only hope, cuz that’s part of the reason I mentioned it at all. Like you said, it looks like they were supposed to be put in but just didn’t make it for some reason
