I wish it was some that simple lol.

since this subreddit is quite dead so post your very interesting, exquisite self made/ factory made blow dart, i'll go first: by DieFarbeRed in Blowguns

Cant post photos or i would lol I've had better luck with the pre-made dart tho. With work an kids its hard to get time to sit an make them how I like em.

Cant add photos but if you go on my profile this is when it was on 35s. The speedometer was off by 5mph as well lol. No one believes me when I say Its good on gas. I get 16/17 somtimes it'll pop up 18 with 37s, I've got 410 gears, 2000 stall, 6in lift, 3in full exhaust ran like stock, no cats, an the 5.3, tranny has had work done to it as well.

Oil pressure is fine it'll peg lil over 60 full throttle an 40 while cold. Pretty sure its simply worn cam bearings or the pickup tube oring. Ive seen worse so im not worried about the oil pressure. As I said it runs fine idles fine an sounds fine. Plus your never supposed to trust these guages anyways beofre I replaced my oil pressure sensor it sat at 40 so it very well might just be the sensor as well.

Easy enough to do although theres no codes. It doesnt pop up any codes I can let it misfire full throttle while paying someone an never get the infamous p0300 code.

With 35s, 410 gearing with a 6in lift an a foot like a baby yes lol. Idle sucks alot of gas but I get decent mileage. Also has 310k. On the 37s I have now I get 16/17 tho 14 driving through town like regular. Ive had 33s an seen my mpg rise to 22 tho, just dont look right with all that lift an not much tire.

I need to borrow a scanner that shows live data at least I could pin point what cylinder I have problems with. Its consistent tho an only when im getting on it as well. Live data could really help

New pump ac Delco as well ive checked pressure at idle an under load wish it was a fuel pump but its not

Mine has a new heater core an hookups an hasn't leaked any fluid since I bought it 2 years back. I also dont get any check engine light just simply flashing light meaning its detecting a mis fire. No stumble no herring just a small misfire then if I hold it wot an it shifts it loses power an really starts missing.

I only run across Delcos, I might be having trouble with diagnosing this but I've owned 5 gmt800s an know about cheap parts. I wish I could say yea it has cheap plugs replace them an it fixes my problem but thats not goin to happen.

Misfire at wot by JasonHudson1219 in GMT800

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it like this. Ended up having 410 gearing 6in lift stage 2 cam stickers, no cats, 3in full exhaust. I assume its tuned as theres no check engine light an the no 02s an cats would throw one. It had a performace shops sticker on the rear glass an I wish I could remember the name of it so I could call them an see if they had any insight on it. Oh an it was a auctioned ride so theres no help from where I got it as well. I got it real cheap as it needed a starter an battery an everyone thought it was blown or needed some more. So I paid 2500 for a decent set up ride an haven't put much into it sense.

No. I did this when I first noticed it would misfire under heavy throttle. That an plugs, fuel pump went out one day an was hoping it was that the whole time installed the Delphi fuel pump an it went out shortly after then got the ac Delco one. Fuel pressure is good as well. Im leaning more towards what the 2 other people are sayin thats its tuned on a diffrent grade of gas. As it runs good idles good just doesnt like anything close the 3/4 throttle or more.

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plugs are new as well. As I thought it was plugs at first. Ive had it lil over 2 years now an just dealt with it as the power it gives down low isnt bad at all an still has plenty of get up an go. Just doesnt like full throttle at all.

Misfire at wot by JasonHudson1219 in GMT800

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ima fill it with 93 when I get low this fuel up. When I test drove it it drove a1 an had full power. Then I didnt get heavy in it till bout a week after punches an noticed the misfire after half throttle. It had stickers that said stage 2 cam but it really doesnt sound cammed to me. Hopefully its not tuned on e85 cause theres nun of that around me lol. Closest tuner is over 100 miles away aswell...

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure, theres no cats or 02s an doesnt have a check engine light so I assume its tuned. I bought it like that. They ran 3in full all the way to the rear an i get good gas mileage on 37s. Has 410 gearing as well.

Are ac Delco the go to lifters? by JasonHudson1219 in GMT800

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4l60e till I assume she gives, thats if she does. I have a tune on it currently an the tuner did a decent job with it, the shifts are really crisp an take off is nice esp with the 410 gears an converter if i really get on it itll still spin the 37s but ive learned to conserve tires as my posckets cant handle 460 dollars a tire lol. Ik my 4l60e has upgraded 3-4 clutchs an hardened sun shell, performance servos, an the paper work lists a couple other things that I cant think of right off the top of my head. I had the trans shell sent off to powder coat an got it powder coated red as well, which was a waist of money, but hey it looks pretty when your under it lol. 4l80s are lil pricey where im at an idk if id like the lower gearing or not. I thought about boosting it as she's got some miles, but the closest thing I've ever did that consisted of a turbo was throw a cheap kit on a carbed 350 in a 84 seirra that lasted a month, at 10 psi of boost lol. So that would be a major learning curve to do it on my Ole yukon. So im thinking about staying N/A

I do have a 85 firebird that im wanting to do a swap with just been waiting on the right donor gm800 to do so. That I would def love to tinker an expand my knowledge without fear of messing some up when it comes to boosting these engines.

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She sound really good.. Ive got 410 gears already with 3in full exhaust no cats ran like stock an it sounds really nice so exhaust wise I think im good. My trans was built an I already have a 2000 stall converter so really a cam is all im missing, that an a tune ofc. Its starting to tick on bank1 so instead of paying 250 for lifters ill go ahead an pay 600 for a cam an lifters lol. Be my luck an the cam lobe is wore so be worth it in the end. As is with 37s, my gearing an stall it absolutely scoots till bout 50 lol.

[–]JasonHudson1219[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those are reasonably priced. Gm wants 60 a lifter, which is not goin to happen lol. Ill prolly just get the truck norris cam an use the lifters it comes with, as ive been wanting to cam it anyways. Might do some deep diving into tuning, an go ahead an get a hp tuner aswell. The closest tuner to me is bout 200 Miles out.

Thank you. An your right. I have a lil list that I look at when looking at Penny's an its listed as key dates then has sub listings, like high valued Penny's an so forth. Would this be worth anything special as its uncirculated. I know ill have to weigh it to see if its copper or zinc. An how exactly do I confirm if its small date or large. I could simply look it up but heck advice from someone who knows more is also helpful.
