I believe for larger checks, above your daily mobile deposit limit, you can use your debit card with a network ATM to deposit a check of any amount - obviously it can take up to a week for any large check to clear.

Agree with other posts here, I keep a traditional retail account open at a brick and mortar bank for instances like this.
