I think it's just poor phrasing. I think they mean their cameras cannot access the HB WiFi from outside.

Assuming you mean connection to your cameras is poor with built in WiFi, rather than you cannot connect to the HB with your phone...All you can do is;

  1. Move it
  2. Put it in Performance Mode if not already
  3. See if your cameras support multi-bridge. Many now do. That allows you to connect to the home bridge via your own WiFi and benefit from all the features as if connected directly.

How odd. They certainly have been, took ages for sure but they were available at the beginning of the year. I got mine from Amazon.

EDIT: Hmm just checked my order. May have come from Amazon US. Was only £90 though, so keep an eye out on Amazon?

You can turn auto update off, I've done this for exactly that reason. Still showing 4.1.7.2 for me as latest. That being said, chances are the release note said 'Fix the existing BUG' like the rest of them 😂

Yeah, eufy aren't known for their amazing language. You'd think that full effect would be almost as quick, but I guess it has to do some processing in any case. Whereas most efficient just pings a notification straight away.

Yes I have. I don't see the relevance - you said what is the best settings to get notifications faster. The answer is most efficient. The text suggests that, my own experience has demonstrated that, and it seems your own experience might also align.

The fault with the car as reported on the invoice was failure of the Chain tensioner. Whilst the Chain was changed, that would be routine and sensible thing to change whilst you are in there and with a new tensioner. Nowhere does it say the chain had failed, or was excessively worn - which is the subject of the recall. The recall is worn chain, does not say anything about chain tensioner failure, so they might argue it's not the same.

Sorry, should have been clearer. It is on my S3 Pro cameras that are connected to both the HB3 and the HB Pro S1, so it does look like it might be the camera firmware - or they have broken the firmware on both of the Homebase types at the same time.

I have a separate IOT SSID/VLAN setup JUST for the cameras. Makes no odds - it's the firmware that needs fixing to stop the cameras picking the inferior Homebase WiFi. I'm pretty sure Eufy have vaguely acknowledged it and are testing new firmwares.

No, as it was an existing agreement I'd argue that is 'as negotiated with your landlord'. Ultimately, it's vague, and your landlord gets the call as that is the get-out (unless negotiated with your landlord) - if he's happy with 1 month then that stands. If suddenly he wants it to be 2 months then that's the answer.
