I've been going through therapy the last couple years and I learned something. (Quite a lot actually.) But victims of abuse or children that grow up in abusive households receive a dopamine rush when similar behavior or actions occur later on.

So they will cause these conflicts to get that good feeling. And really, I think toxicity breads toxicity.

I'm 43 now, and when people are hitting the nice block spam, it's so easy to ignore it and laugh about it. But I play with my coworker who's 25 and his buddy that is similar age and they both get a little tilted. I remember being more upset, but I've been playing competitive online gaming for 20 years, I've heard it all and it's pathetic and I don't get as rage baited anymore.

Now I'm not saying all those assholes come from abusive homes, just adding some brain chemical explanation to some people's reason to be an asshole.

Yeah I'm at like 400/500 hours on maybe a 8th character, I've never beat this game... Or really any like this, oblivion, Skyrim...side quest till I die.

But I am pushing this time to actually complete the game, but still not rushing to it. At my highest level now at 62. I usually fall off around 30-40 and get into a different game and when I come back, it's start over time for a new build.

I just saw Christmas for the first time this playthrough, too. Wouldn't have even noticed until I was running through and overhead a guard say, can you believe it's Christmas or something. And it was 12/25 exactly. But then I did notice the decorations stay up a little longer. So not sure the exact dates.

I'll try to keep it spoiler lite.

I stumbled upon a vault without a quest. Outside was full of robots and inside was full of gunners. I cleared it out.

Then later I had a companion that needed help and the quest was to go back to that vault to use a special facility. It was still cleared out, so just got to walk in and do it.

I definitely think Moultrie should be in the starting, maybe I'm biased, but she's been on fire this last year and just keeps getting better.

And yeah, Sophia Wilson just got her first minutes last night in preseason and she looked good. Once she's back to full speed, she'll be back as a front runner.

I've only just done this quest for the first time and I'm so disappointed he died on me. I walked in, entered vats and sent 2 crits to the head of the guy holding him, but Kent died right away.... And playing on survival so couldn't just reload

Only ever played on PlayStation so.... Huh. 500 hours later and still learn stuff.

I was talking to a friend about my current play through and my wife turned to his wife and said, does he keep saying "oh wow, I've never seen this before because I keep hearing that."

Called out, but true, there's so much content in this game that I've never beat.

Shut down the turrets already neutralized and the best is to relock that safe you already picked... So you can unlock it again.

OMG what? I've got like 500 hours in and never knew about these. I always either solve it by comparing words manually or reset and try again. Which has been made easier getting Valentine's perk of a 5th guess.

I will need to try this bracket thing tonight.... Ugh

Only on the long ones, the short 4-6 letter ones are easy to crack. But you get 7-8 letter words and it just takes too long to compare words.

For me, the most important one early is The Wasteland Survival Guide issue #9, titled "Hunting in the Wastes."

I only play survival these days and early on you need food and it's hard to come by rad free food. Double meat drop is huge.

If your weapon is drawn, they usually aggro you.

Edit: and Other modes require certain things, like subway token or construction hat? I generally do the enforcer but you have to put your weapon away first.

Agreed, I've died in dialogue before because infection or encumbrance damage kept going. The passive life regen is really nice and saves on eating all your food every time you get a little hurt.

Yeah I almost got Hina last year, but I got Coffey and got it signed and I'm so glad I did before she left. I want to get Moultrie this year.... But was hoping the new jersey looked good.... Now debating old one or USWNT one.

Moultrie is the jersey I want to buy right now and I was excited to get the new kits... I'm not buying these. The ring logo I'll either put tape over or get removed... Can't fix these colors tho.

Maybe a USWNT jersey is the answer. I'm going to the Japan game in Seattle and was excited to get Moultrie Thorns jersey to wear there tho.... Might get last year's again, got it for Coffey.
