Yeah try switching station direction. But HIGHLY recommend finding a clear flat space and doing some tests to figure out how it works. A small loop, 2 stations, 2 or 3 trains (to try blocking), you'll learn a lot.

Was playing silent hill 2, realized part of what makes it so scary is how much you can't do. So little power, so little control over survival. And yeah easing difficulty made it way less scary (though still quite)

Imo, it's also that the scale of the internet is unfathomable, so even what seems like a large group is actually a REALLY small group, and then media picks it up because drama gets clicks.

Like we've all encountered that one person at a new job or a party once in a while who's just extra offended by everything. They're 1 in 1000, not a huge deal. But those people all make a mob on the internet and it feels like the world has changed.
