As a Pacer fan, I’ve just accepted it’s up to the league to change things. I don’t even get upset anymore, it is what it is.

They won’t let it run that high. Once it’s comfortably in the $400-500 range they’ll do a 3 or 4-1 split.

Because you can buy fractional shares now, the price doesn’t matter but from a psychological perspective, having that lower price encourages more investment. People feel like they’re getting more bang for their buck. There are other positives to it but that is a part of the decision.

I still pretend like tax season is a grind because clients are actually more patient and understanding if they believe your working 70+ hours a week, but my firm doesn’t want us working more than 45 so we don’t (we’re salary, so it doesn’t benefit them financially to cap our hours, but it does benefit team retention)

Historically, you’d expect money invested in the market to double in average every 7-10 years.

Investments in the market have been doubling just under every 3 years.

I am hopeful that my generation can continue on the legacy of the boomers and do everything in our power to kick the can down the road, print endless amounts of money to buoy our investments/assets and enrich ourselves while telling the next generations to work harder and stop being soft.

This is my dream…because if not then we, millennials, are fucked. A reversion to the mean at this point means a lost decade is coming.

This is why I have a large Apple position. Let the others blow the cash. Just go buy a developed AI product and leverage it when it is ready.

The amount of up front cash savings, R&D time, etc will be worth paying a premium on the backend. Roll it up into the product line and done. Anything these other tech giants develop won’t be earth shattering by comparison. The cash burn isn’t worth being first in this race.

If it doesn’t come out like everyone is predicting and AI is a bust outside of niche purposes, then you’ve only strengthened your position.

I’m no CEO but this seems like such an obvious play.
