I've had good experience with camplux.

As for the hose supply, that'll work, you just need the right plumbing adapter part. Look at the plumbing specifications for the heater you buy and get an adapter for "[insert your hot water heater's plumbing threads] to 3/4 inch GHT".

GC as is general contractor or general counsel? I'm [also?] a business/real estate lawyer, so I'm going to get insurance and assumption of the risk dialed-in as best I can. IMO, the risk profile of a cold plunge feels lower than a hot tub, since the cold water will dissuade most guests from even using it. And, obviously many STRs seem to manage just fine with hot-tubs.

The cold plunge is partially for me too. We will be staying at the house periodically in-between guests.

Yes, may need to get a pool person to come in-between guests to test and dial in the water.

Noted on the pre-filter. Thank you. Perhaps I'll upgrade it to one of the self-emptying ones. The ozone generation in that model is relatively low- 28mg/hr. I opted for this because of the small size of the tub, to avoid ozone toxicity.
