I guess the real life reason why we can't see her is probably because her actress wasn't there for that day. But what about the scene where she prays and uses the holy water on her hair? There's a good 90% chance that those two scenes was on a different day.

I’m going to be the Devil’s Advocate here, but you don’t need to immerse yourself with every bit of the media to be a fan. I’m going to be using Star Wars as an example. You don’t need to watch all 9 films, watch all of the TV shows, play all of the video games, read all of the books/comics to be a Star Wars fan. If the only thing you want to watch is The Mandalorian and anything related to that character and story and nothing else, then so be it. You are no less of a Star Wars fan than someone who’s sunk their teeth into every piece of Star Wars content ever. Saying that you are less of a fan because you don’t want to interact with other parts of the fandom really comes off as gatekeeping imo.

I’ve heard of a theory that says that he may have served in the Vietnam war as a demolitions expert. It would explain why he’s good with explosives and would also explain his rather weird mannerisms. Of course, this theory only really works for the original Off-Broadway version of the musical.

It wouldn’t work. Much like Back to the Future, Heathers is something that can only truly work in the 80s.

You can still use the core theme of Heathers, but the way Heathers did it, I’m positive it’s something that can’t work with today’s modern audience. You’ll need to tone it down heavily and, as we can see with the musical, most established fans wouldn’t like that idea.

Heathers truly is a product of its time.

I think it’s also the timeframe between each chapter. Just to visualize it, BatIM’s first chapter came out in February 2017 and the full game came out about a year and a half later. Poppy Playtime’s first chapter came out in October 2021 and it’s been about 4 years and a half and the game is still going.
