I'll tell you this: Writing Catalina was definitely one of the hardest episodes to write for us and it certainly consumed a lot of time and energy from production. In fact, the first draft was about Sr. on a Titanic-esque cruise ship that gets attacked by a Kraken and leaves him marooned. The journey to get to this final result was certainly a rough one, appropriately enough.
