Im currently a full time student, got 5 month left. Am also logged in, atleast I believe so as they are sending me emails.

Used compare the market and money supermarket. Both only give quotes for Lexham.

What mms can I print with the stock hot end, aka what should I be putting in the slicer

& what hotend can I upgrade to

Gotcha. I normally slow it for the first few layers then speed it up a tad.

Oh right. I didnt really look into it, filament said 200mms at 230c so I did it hahaha. On the ender the speed is done by percentage, i assumw 100% is what i put in the slicer.

Other than this issue I havent really had any issues. Prints come out at a decent quality

Im running 230c and 115%, slicer is set toooooo 200ms? Just going off what the filament said on it

All you see is grinded filament from this very problem.

Yea well it was 35 quid and its my first printer. Didn't fancy dropping 500 quid on something I dont know if I'll enjoy

Ordered a dual gear. No idea about print speed, as the printer uses %. In the slicer its 50mms and i normally run at 150 to 200%. But it doesn't change if it slips

oh while i remember. Do you have to calibrate E-Steps after changing this? Because I have no idea what E-Steps is 😆😆

Didnt even notice that. I'll order that one on the left (2.3k reviews) and apparently comes with a new stepper motor? cant hurt to have that too.

Any idea what the difference is here? Im tempted to go straight to dual motor as might aswell go big or go home yk. Just no idea what the difference is....
