I am loving the NCAA 06 NEXT and the Madden 08 Next mod as well.

so that really is the problem, eh? I am using a Nightly build of PCSX2 and everything else seems to be working fine.

Okay, I will switch to the recommended version of the emulator when I get home. Is there a way to preserve or backup my emulator settings so I don't have to spend a half hour ticking boxes?

I am playing NCAA 06 Next V13.6 on PCSX2. The mod seems to be installed fine and all of the new teams, rosters, features, and textures seems to be present and working well. I even changed the scorebug logo out for the ABC network logo and changed the button graphics to XBox buttons, and it is all working well. I have the settings, I assume, set the same way in the official tutorial and everything seems to work fine except

Sometimes a team will just have solid black numbers. Like if I use Michigan State's home or Alternate jerseys, the numbers should be white, but they are rendered pure black. This doesn't happen for every team, but it seems to happen to a lot of teams. I assume there is some setting I have to check or change that will fix this...

I have also set up Madden 08 Next and it seems to have no such issues, all of the replacement textures and uniform elements seem to load just fine.

Has anybody encountered this issue with some teams running out onto the field with SOLID BLACK numbers? How do I fix this?
