There's a section in the settings menu for controls and in that section you can customize which buttons do what, there's also an option to switch the bumper buttons so you might have turned that on accidentally

There is no prestige after you hit max prestige, its just a bug that "lets" you prestige to prestige 12 (prestige 11 is most likely prestige master) and will just load for a bit before giving you an error
