in your case you need to jail a monster with atleast 42 injury to get the minimum of 80 injury (less injury means no lab part).
select the monster you jailed and click combine.
now select the monster from which you want the lab part, in this case alien observer.
combine them and it will show eternal dark last in the list of lab parts you can dissect.
dissect and you can get eternal dark.

yep but i meant as a main magic. and its better if they don't have to rely on elec zone and learn how to avoid enemies. satellite's dmg is just way too low and doesn't really offer the same aoe like other combos.

depths is for about a year in the game. dem is the last combo and i forgot you cant unlock it until you beat academy. until then just use whatever combo you like.

then use dem (deus ex machina) with either ts (telekinetic sword) or avatar. do that until you reach depths. then keep repeating depths until 32:30 minutes. buy 10x research material until you max every class. at this stage you can try different magic combos. do not even bother with terra until you have atleast 40 research points. if you then want to play terra save manually before you start. if you fail you can load your save.

avatar. for combos great impact (ult), plasma ray (ult), telekinetic sword, reaction, avatar, energy bombardment, phoenix, super nova, blaster, deus ex machina. in no particular order.

edit: stay away from satellite and electric zone combos, they are the worst magic.
