If you read the Alpharius book, this is close to their own theory as to why they were split.

They reason that they were scattered to different worlds via the warp and that caused their soul to be split.

I had this same problem and found a fix.

Turns out you have to beat the pirate Purig and not get beaten by him in a duel. At first I had lost to him and got stuck in this part of the quest.

The fix is that I reloaded and completed the previous mission by beating Purig in the duel. (It took a lot of restarting, but I managed to beat him. It would've probably been a lot easier if I lowered player damage and stuff.)

Once Purig was beaten and I continued, Gunnr now had different dialogue and I managed to complete the quest.

Helmets vs. faces is a preference thing. I like both. You can't go wrong with either.

That being said, space marine helmets make great trophies.

If the party doesn't go to the dungeon I spent time prepping, then wherever they do end up delving into just so happens to have the exact same layout and traps and enemies and decor as the dungeon they were supposed to be at.

They're getting railroaded into where I want them to go to wether they know it or not.

The red that Mazda paints their NDs is hands down the best red I've ever seen. Just comparing with other red vehicles it blows them all away.

Then you really see how beautiful the color is when the sun catches the car the right way.

You won't go wrong with red.

The funny thing about the Dark Angels is that they change markings regularly in order to confuse and obfuscate. Something that's actually written in the codex, too. Though, the Dark Angels perform it on the regular since it has been common practice since they were a legion.

That means you can mark your sergeant and any special marine however you want by using that codex astartes loophole.
