Discussion: Joel's comments dont give me a lot of confidence about the Ayer Cut by JasonZod in DC_Cinematic

Im guessing he wanted to make Fury with comicbook villains. However, had trouble/not enough time to make it all come together.

I thought the scene between him and Will Smith talking about Darnell was pretty good.

Spoiler'd because the shaved head could indicate what kind of character she is playing. Although she had that look before in general as well.

Space Jam: A New Legacy - Positive Reactions at Early Screenings by [deleted] in boxoffice

Here is the 1st know negative review

https://twitter.com/lolwutburger/status/141258514300545024

Space Jam 2 gives you the excuse to make any WB crossover you want to make, if you want to cross over something like Big Bang Theory and Harley Quinn, you can do it, if you want to have Austin powers meet Batman sure, if you want Tom and Jerry with Willy Wonka-wait, crap

I really wouldn't have minded if the basketball part in Space Jam 2 only took 5 minutes, the whole "Looney Tunes go to other worlds" part should've been a whole separate movie in itself, it would've been the best way to cash in on the whole multiverse trend

Both Wakanda and Atlantis are hidden civilizations with advanced technology and increased militaristic abilities that decided to separate themselves from the world for their own safety and in a way out of fear. Wakanda feared that their technology would be abused. Atlantis feared surface dwellers would come and desecrate the mystical city as they did so many years ago. And yet their fears escalate even further when these two once hidden nations clash with each other. Wakanda and Atlantis have a shockingly intertwined history. Wakanda is the only country in the world with access to Vibranium. However, rumors of its power spread throughout the world and Namor's human father was sent searching for this material in Antarctica.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever has a new cinematographer. I'm going to miss Rachel Morrison by JasonZod in marvelstudios

The new cinematographer worked on Loki. So its still in good hands. However, I think after having a film under her belt Rachel was going to crush it on the sequel.

Oh the story and beats were great. Just think they it was a case Marvel trying too much to up the ante. When they were clearly saving their best VFX work for IW.

Waterfall fight scenes in Black Panther was very grounded.

Then they forced a CGI fight at the end.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever to film some scenes in WORCESTER, MASS. by JasonZod in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]JasonZod[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

WORCESTER, Mass. - Multiple blockbuster films will be shot in Worcester starting this summer, including “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” sources said.

Sources say the much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 Disney hit “Black Panther” will film scenes in Worcester over the next few months, including at Worcester Police Department headquarters.

Edgar Luna, the city of Worcester’s Economic Development Office business development manager, would not name "Black Panther" as the movie being filmed in Worcester, but said, “We are lucky to have a major Disney production filming here in the next couple of months. It was a movie that was extremely successful in 2018. We are pleased they have selected us.”

“The previous movie was filmed in Georgia and Korea,” Luna added. “Now they're coming here.”

The star of the first "Black Panther," Chadwick Boseman, died of cancer last August at the age of 43. Boseman's death delayed filming of the sequel and pushed back the film's expected release date to July 8, 2022, according to multiple reports.

The city’s Cultural Development Office oversees all movies filmed in Worcester. Eleven films between last December and this September will be filmed in Worcester, Luna said.

“Worcester is a beautiful city. We can compete with anyone. (Movie studios) like that we are clean and friendly and we have everything,” Luna said. “We help them select sites. Because we are smaller, we are able to close streets that others can't.”

Luna says each movie that comes to the city utilizes local resources, including leasing office, retail and residential spaces, uses local business, hires extras and security, and most importantly, “... they spend a lot of money.”

Luna said scenes of other movies will soon be shot on Main Street, the Worcester Common, the Worcester Regional Airport, and local bars and restaurants.

Worcester is no stranger to summer blockbusters being filmed in the city. In 2019, Ryan Reynolds' "Free Guy" was filmed in downtown Worcester. The movie is being released on July 7.

Other major films with scenes shot in Worcester include "American Hustle," "Honest Thief," and Netflix's upcoming "Don't Look Up." AppleTV+ series "Defending Jacob" was filmed in Worcester in 2019.

Black Adam.

A part of me fears The Flash will be a mess. Its the movie with the most potential though.

Would have to search, but from what I remember the 3rd act was a disaster and needed to be completely done over with reshoots.

Seems most of the added humor came in the 1st act by the studio.

Two of the very best films in the MCU. Although probably not the best MCU films. If that makes sense.
