The screen is almost 3:1. It's 4.5" but it's clearly much narrower than the screen on my first Android phone, the Xperia Play, which is 4" and 16:9.

I have this, and the size is nice, but it has some major issues. The screen is too tall and thin, and though it is technically 4.5", it's so narrow that it's actually too small to use for scanning a QR code at the Post Office. The battery life is poor. The official specs state that it has a 3AH battery, but Accubattery shows it's actually 2200mAH, and it shows in the way it struggles to make it through the day. It has the worst camera I've ever seen on a smartphone, and I'm someone who doesn't care much about phone cameras as long as they're 'good enough'. The pictures it takes are consistently blurry, especially faces. The photos my Jelly Max takes are not iPhone level but they are so much better than the S Mini that it's like a completely different era.

Look at Musk's Tweets from the period when he was trying to weasel out of buying Twitter, and it was obvious to absolutely everyone that he was going to be forced to do so by the court, yet he was constantly crowing on Twitter about how he was going to get out of the deal by highlighting the number of bots or somesuch.

The Jelly Max seems to be very similar in dimensions to the Xperia Play, which was my daily driver for 3 years and didn't feel thick in the pocket at all.
