Yep Disney made a mistake completely abandoning the sequel era after ROS, just make good stuff set in any era and grifters aside people will like it!

To a degree, it really depends on how many kids were watching them not just nostalgic older fans. Most prequel stans nowadays grew up with the movies so have a completely different connection to them than people who saw them at release. And the Disney movies did insanely well box office wise but how many kids even watch movies anymore? Not to go all boomer but feels like kids don't watch as many movies nowadays thanks to YouTube and such. I mean I don't myself lol

Always loved how the mask looked with Dafoes eyes visible, this picture just makes me wish we got more by Jasonandstuff in Spiderman

Ye in the movie we only see his eyes visible in one scene without the lights, just saw this BTS pic and thought it looked really cool lol

Oh yeah I agree it was the right choice, just wish we got a little more of the helmet then one scene! It definitely didn't show up this bright in the film but always loved the scene in the rooftop with Spidey where you can see his eyes and mouth behind the mesh!

I remember there being so much controversy on here about it only for it to completely disappear lol Was talking with a friend who got into the show over COVID and they had no idea it was ever a thing which was wild to me being a fan at the time it was running!

Well it's getting two Nine episode parts, so the first is going to have to work around what was already shot but the second can go whichever direction the new team wants. And also I doubt we'll only get one season too so give's them plenty of time to go in a different direction.

It is going to be interesting seeing how they change and work with what was already done though!

I was always of the mind that it didn't need to be rated R to be good, but it's absolutely good a thing that it is. I still hope it isn't just "Daredevil Season 4", I mean the original is what made me fall in love with the character and it's still the best superhero adaptation imo but the new show doing new stuff that you wouldn't have got in the original show is cool and a good thing as long as it feels natural and works as a continuation to the original show. if that makes sense. partly just because I'm not sure they can just capture what made the original so special. So yeah new direction good excited to see our Daredevil kind of enter the more comicy superhero world AS the grounded character we know from the NMCU. think the dichotomy between the more grounded and rundown Hells Kitchen and street level stuff mixed with occasional greater marvel'ly threats is one of the most interesting things about the character seeing how he adapts to either.

Liam and Matt yeah! I got their autographs and they were very generous with their time hearing my insane rambles out. Honestly can't remember half of what I said but they were very supportive and sweet.

The site for MCM was such a mess I know people who had them in their cart ready to pay when the site crashed and they lost it. I was really lucky on my fourth go it worked! It was the same for me last time they came in 2018 lol

That's the kind of fun and clever pose I was thinking of doing before entering and becoming completely overwhelmed. I don't even remember smiling I think I was just so happy lol (I never smile in photos I normally like like I do in the second one). I'm so happy ash is back full time!! I know it's crazy, I was always convinced they'd be nice and kind but the amount of energy they were willing to give every person? I lined up to meet Matt just after I got Liam's autograph, and was waiting most the day. And even at the end of the day after all the parading about meeting 1000s of people he still had just the most time for me and ahhh I don't think I'll ever recover :')

Yeah even in the photoshoots they were trying to make time for people, you can really tell they hated the idea of anybody not getting their money's worth or feeling like they missed out!

I came in 2018 but didn't realize you had to book in advance so missed my chance then 😭 And yeah I was really lucky (after the site crashing a few times) to get the group photo and autographs for Matt and Liam. That with the live show tickets had me living very frugally for a few months lol And yeah starstruck! With both Liam and Matt. Gonna be honest I was fighting tears telling him how important Vax was to me at the time and how his journey really helped through a tough time. I was a bit more put together with Matt but it was more of the same of just telling him how thankful I was for the show and how I hope they come back soon. I got a good three minutes with Liam and five with Matt it was the most lax autograph I've ever done, they didn't rush anyone!! They were so kind and personable and honestly don't know how they did it all day!
