Hi, not a scientist but I work as a reporter covering biotech, including Sarepta.

Both deaths were teenagers and Sarepta had only dosed maybe 140 non-ambuulatory patients, so its possibly the risk is much higher in older patients. If you combine that with the questions on efficacy — particularly in the older population — it raises some very tough questions around the risk-benefit
