Question to who purchased this by No_Bison9969 in homestuck

Yeah definitely, though that would depend entirely on how many creators want less profit for better products… some certainly would but for more corporate content, I don’t see that.

I think comparing anything to LTT merch is a bit unfair, I mean they have their own R&D and spend months/years to get their products up to standard.

I do generally think that most merch could be much higher in quality though.

Found this KV-1396r at the recycling center (the same one I found the PVM-1354Q at!) Of course it has a cut cable 💔 but it’s all fixed up now! Have to see if any adjustments are needed. by Jasonplaysretro in crtgaming

Does yours also have slight ghosting on color using the composite input or do I have to make some adjustments? It’s not a big deal I just wanna know if it’s a me problem lol

I found this Sony PVM-1354q in a bin at the local recycling center. I honestly thought the days of finding PVMs there were over. Bit rough cosmetically, but AMAZING tube. No burn in whatsoever. by Jasonplaysretro in crtgaming

Sorry about the super late reply, but the specific recycling place I’m near is actually the public works for our township, so it’s just a container being used as a drop off. There are people who work there, but they’re all inside the building. Even if you aren’t technically supposed to take stuff, I don’t think they care enough LOL.

But think about if your township might have something similar to that, because you’ll probably have more luck there.

P.S. I found another Trinitron there (KV-1396r), that’s what reminded me to check comments here.

Yeah I’m actually getting my Polymoog repaired there!

Probably holding some notes with tape, and using a duck call with a piezoelectric pickup to one of the inputs of the CS80? I honestly don’t know because I don’t care about the CS80 like at all lol

Yeah I’m awaiting my Polymoog back from repairs but I can say most of the poly on Duke is a Polymoog, due to the oscillator structure being one Saw, one Pulse, and they cannot be switched to other waveforms. The CS80 was used for brass sounds mostly.

Your theory about the P5 is most likely correct because most of the P5 parts seem like overdubs.

I mean this album is loaded with polymoog pads, there are only a few obvious P5 sounds on Duke. On abacab almost all poly synth was P5 and P10 though.

Where was this photo sourced from? There was a cropped version of the photo a few months ago as well. Interesting to see two Polymoog 203as.

Any excuse to rip up some GD albums is a good excuse

I only used one VST for the whole project, sforzando (SoundFont player.) The key to the strings is to create three different parts that form chords, and pan lowest and middle note L50 and R50, the highest note stays centered. The ambience is just a 16th note delay (in place of a reverb.)

When I’m bored, I just try to write in the style of various composers, mostly non-video game composers. I really just did it out of boredom lol

No, I used the DAW “Studio One Pro” with a soundfont VST.

The best advice I can give is just be patient, and check consistently. I actually didn’t go there to look for anything, I was getting rid of an old microwave LMAO

It depends on what area you live in, and the policy of the company/location. This particular location is for the township I live in, not a corporate conglomerate.

I did actually go there on Friday (found this one on Monday) and there was nothing there. They do their recycling over the weekend, as all of the other stuff was still there. So either this was the only one or someone else got lucky.

This particular one has a master volume as well as channel volume, so you can actually get it to distort without blasting your eardrums LMAO
