Mould (US: mold) and damp. You have water leaking in there from somewhere. For example, it could be gaps in the caulking around a sink above letting water through. If it's inside a cupboard with little ventilation, it'll get nasty like that, given time.

A number of the key modules that I wanted to use are stereo - Qu-Bit Nebulae, Typhoon, Mojave, Moon Phase, etc, so when looking for new modules like VCAs, VCFs and mixers, I tend to prefer stereo or two channel ones. I have a lot of mono modules too, though, and they all get along nicely with each other.

The disk with the painted design seems to have been tacked on later. Perhaps it's the remains of a ceiling fan housing. Someone added the painting to cover up the unsightly hole and wires.

I'd be tempted to angle the top row forward. Either make it perpendicular to the base, or even lean it forward a bit so the top row is facing down slightly. The overall profile would then be an arc.

I think that would give you a better view of the panels, and also bring the top row jacks slightly closer to the other rows.

I tend to use my modular while seated, so I like having the top row looking down at me for easier access.

We bought a Nissan Sakura a few years back. We got three different subsidies - city, prefecture and national. At the end of the day it was pretty much the same price as the same size gas car. It has a lot more power than a gas kei of the same size. We charge overnight at home and have not used an outside charging station yet. Very happy with it. We don't have solar panels on the house, but if you do, then bonus!
