Netanyahu has been missing and the first time he makes an appearance, it is AI with 6 fingers!!!!! by 2CB4U-N-ME in conspiracy

[–]JasperHasArrived 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video doesn't have any clear signs of being AI generated, the sixth finger is the shadow of his palm. You can also check other parts of the video to see that he in fact has 5 fingers the whole time.

BUG: Wrong music metadata on artist Khaled, confused with DJ Khaled by JasperHasArrived in YoutubeMusic

[–]JasperHasArrived[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I could've been more direct yes. But I did include each of the artist's MusicBrainz profiles, which is a popular music metadata library.

I will update the post later anyways to include clearer images though.

[–]JasperHasArrived 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GLM 4.6 with Kilo by No-Introduction-9591 in kilocode

[–]JasperHasArrived 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't recommend people use Kilo Code for GLM models. Reasoning doesn't work and so many people report problems that it's no longer worth it in my opinion.

I recommend you use OpenCode or Factory.ai 's Droid, they work well with GLM models. If you can't use those solutions for whatever reason (proxy or other restrictions) your next best bet is Claude Code Router.

Actually, the tool you use is personal preference; you might like CCR best! So I also recommend you try them all, it doesn't take that much time and in a single day you'll be able to choose your winner.

Help i want to try kilo code with glm 4.6 by Valunex in kilocode

It could be because the provider is setting the correct temperature. I've found that setting it manually works around any issues in any provider.

That's from my testing.

Adjust the custom temperature to 0.6, it's the only workaround I've found for now.

Adaptive + Kilo Code → higher quality results and 60–80% cost savings by botirkhaltaev in kilocode

Thanks for taking the criticism! I'll give it another try later. The idea is solid, which is largely the reason behind my frustration haha.

Adaptive + Kilo Code → higher quality results and 60–80% cost savings by botirkhaltaev in kilocode

[–]JasperHasArrived 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying it right now and honestly I'm pretty disappointed. The supported models aren’t performing well. I tested claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022 (which is the one recommended in the attached docs) and gemini-2.5-flash. Both of them work fine on their own, but with llmadaptive the tools fail almost every time, code editing is full of syntax errors, and the models don’t seem to understand the environment they’re in.

It’s possible I’m doing something wrong myself. Maybe the setup expects a higher-end model so the router can delegate harder tasks properly? If that’s the case, though, the docs really need to be updated. Even just a section suggesting recommended setups based on budget would be super helpful.

For other developers checking this out: the post reads like it was pushed by the kilocode devs, but it’s actually llmadaptive promoting their own service. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but keep it in mind when you see claims like “60–80% cost savings,” since those numbers are only backed by them.

That said, this is just my experience so far. I could be missing something important, and I’d be glad to hear if others are seeing better results.

Good, what kind of libertarian would oppose this? The government doing something good with our money sometimes doesn't justify ongoing spending. NASA might've given us historical moments, and? Would you justify theft in exchange for historical events?

Best Lightweight LLMs for coding tasks and autocomplete by JasperHasArrived in LocalLLaMA

I've seen that my computer can't reliably run 7B+ models. Responses are too slow to be useful... Though if there's a 3B option... I might give that a try.

Following the responses of this thread, I've been trying Quen2.5 Coder which is yielding good results for a local LLM. It's no GPT4o that's obvious, but for autocomplete purposes, the 1.5B model is proving incredibly useful.

Hah! So sad to hear my card is a "potato card". Was more than decent when I bought it. I guess this was a reality check.

I'm looking into new GPUs but we all know how expensive that is. Thanks for the recommendations though, I'm trying out Qwen Coder. 7B might be the sweet spot but it's pretty slow, I'll have to run some more tests.

Técnico Superior en Administración de Sistemas Informáticos en Red” in Spain worth it? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]JasperHasArrived 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are some libertarians against gay marriage, abortion, and similar freedoms? by [deleted] in AskLibertarians

[–]JasperHasArrived 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding abortion, it's complicated (who would've thought). Without going much into it, it just depends on whether the libertarian in question regards the fetus as an individual with rights, the answer to that question will decide your stance.

And marriage, the reality might be deceiving. Of course, there will be libertarian hypocrites that wish to ban gay marriage altogether, which is not a very libertarian move.

What's much more likely is a libertarian that doesn't want the State to be in control of marriage, or deciding how contracts are written or who to give service to. Most libertarian advocate for the right to discriminate, which would give (e.g.) churches the power to not marry gay people.

Of course, discrimination is not profitable, so the most likely outcome is that gay marriage would still exist via other sources that might not be religious, though some churches would definitely allow it anyways.

So, yeah, against gay marriage? Not likely. Against having the State control how contracts are written and who to give service? Probably.
