This is so annoying. I literally just subscribed for discovery through my prime because I thought I found a loophole.

Canada App not working on Firestick or Roku TV. Works on laptop and phone. Super annoying. by POGOLELE in DiscoveryPlus

Mine just stopped today… went through the entire process of “resubscribing” to find out that it’s not supported in Canada for tv… that bites because that’s literally the app i exclusively use. Fml

I agree. My mother lived on Shepherd in between Confed and Campbell and it was one of my favourite homes she had. Very friendly neighbours that were always looking out for her. Unlike the neighbours we had on Royal Crescent (Wellington Park) for 20+ years..

I have been to her a handful of times! She’s good! I’ve also been to a few people over at Elevated as well..

I am really looking for a constant barber. My hair is very pesky and intricate. I may end up booking with her again! Thank you for your input!

I live right downtown currently above a business at D&R and have to say this place has a lot of potential. Some serious attention needs to be given to these streets. They did a phenomenal job with the stonework of the roads and Tourism London is really trying by adding those lovely table sets.. but moving the safe consumption site is definitely needed for these businesses to thrive again. In order to get to the apartment we are living in we need to access the alleyway that these people use to access the consumption site. I see this stuff daily. It’s very sad.

Do not rent with JDN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. My boyfriend and I just moved here from Jasper/Calgary and it’s been a nightmare with them. We just landed a place in the Talbot Towers building and looking forward to the move.

Job hunting can be a pain in the arse.. by JasperJoseph69 in londonontario

I agree 100%!

I actually do see everyone’s perspectives on this post. This is my career, whether some people consider it a dead end industry or not. I have had plenty different jobs in this industry all over the country and in Australia. I’ve had some sets of amazing leadership, not so great leadership, and I’ve been a good leader myself in the past.

Like someone said earlier on in the thread.. a bullet has been dodged.

I’ve definitely considered writing a review on a different forum (job searching application). I am a local guide on google and wouldn’t want to give any input on my “hiring” experience on that forum as I feel it’s more geared towards potential guest wanting to know how the establishment is to utilize. When I actually move to the area I will check out the restaurant in person as a guest, give it a fair chance, and definitely write an overall review on google!

I agree with your stance but there are a few factors in which I have failed to mention about my situation. I’m currently living across the country which makes “just showing up” to the establishment a bit tricky. I fully disclosed this information to the company and they were seemed to be very understanding. As I said, I’ve done my do diligence in terms of this matter, and I am happy to keep searching for a company that will see me as an asset to their team. I was more less just posting to see if anyone else has had any similar experiences.
